Issued on November 1, 1963, this second United States Christmas stamp was based on an on-the-spot painting made by artist Lily Spandorf of President John F. Kennedy lighting the National Christmas tree. The National Christmas tree and the White House are depicted. This mint stamp measures 25.5mm x 22mm; the above image is an enlargement.
